Sandals for Lucy
Francis Ford Coppola’s masterpiece “Bram Stoker’s DRACULA” has always been an obsession of mine since I saw it a very early age (probably too early). The bridal gown Eiko Ishioka created for Sadie Frost’s character, Lucy, is a look that is often on my mind and decided to pay a humble tribute to it. The result is a kitten heel D’orsay sandal ornamented with upcycled rubber lace. It is upcycled because it used to be a kitsch doily to put on top of trays that has become an oversized ornament reminiscent of Lucy’s incredible collar and headpiece.
